We have devised our own in-house process for maximum efficiency:
Design and equipment selection
Control of our design processes are subject to checking procedures and use of verified bespoke software applications. Our controls ensure that design output meets design input so that the end product fulfils every requirement of the contract. To ensure technical compliance and successful delivery we use equipment approved to stringent industry standards and the latest 3D design software.
Order processing
Every order goes through a strict process (contract review) to ensure all aspects of the contract have been captured and a full data package is produced to guarantee a seamless path through the production process. Orders are entered into our bespoke in-house WMS (warehouse management system). Because we undertake every aspect in-house, live updates can be provided at any stage of the order build.
Module preparation & component allocation
Stock allocation is handled by a dedicated team within our warehouse facility. Frame and spool raw material is selected and prepared by a skilled team of fabricators independent from our team of welders.
We hold one of the largest inventories of module components with the largest stock of filters in the UK. Quality control is central to our ethos so all material held in stock is fully traceable by material heat number.
Fabrication & welding
We are certified to ISO 9001 and maintain full traceability for welded components. We ensure all non-destructive inspection and any destructive testing is completed where appropriate.
Painting
Our dedicated in-house paint facility can complete all two-coat paint systems. We also offer PA10 / CW6 and customer-specific paint systems. All modules undergo in-house paint inspection with NACE paint inspection available on request.
Assembly and test
Our assembly team operates in a dedicated 6500 sq. ft assembly area capable of building modules from 3/4” to 48”.All members of the assembly team have undergone small-bore training essential when building modules with small-bore tube, as well as flange torque training.
Quality control
Every module undergoes these quality control checks before release:
- Test pressure checks
- Spring range checks
- 100% visual inspection
- Component tagging and serial number logging for traceability
- Packing and preservation for safe transport to end user
